You may have heard of us, and we hope you have! A few years ago, several friends and I decided to create a gaming podcast—our own corner of the internet where we could talk about video games and geek culture without judgment. When we started, it was tough to find others who shared our vision. For our Editor-in-Chief, Keith Mitchell, the goal was clear: he wanted to present geek culture through a BIPOC lens. And so, The Outerhaven was born.
What began as a simple podcast soon grew into something much bigger. The Outerhaven Productions expanded from covering just video games to exploring comics, manga, anime, technology, and pretty much anything that falls under the geek culture umbrella. We now provide news, reviews, and podcasts on topics ranging from gaming and anime to TV and film, while also attending and covering major events like IndieCade, New York Comic Con, PAX East, and more.
We want to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has followed us—whether you’re reading our content, listening to our podcasts, or watching our videos. Your support means everything to us. We promise to keep doing what we love and continue pushing forward with even greater passion.
